Worked with the WCDMA-L1 team from January 2009 to June 2009. The project involved design and implementation of high speed digital I/O interface with the modem. The interface enables access to the baseband data which can be directly streamed or acquired from the modem. This is a very useful tool for debugging purposes during the modem bring up process.
Supported the software development teams with the physical layer testing builds. These builds were released after sanity tests on the respective phone models. The codes were written in C.
Gained a good understanding of WCDMA layer one protocols including HSPA and LTE.Tools : QXDM, QPST, TRACE 32, PANDA, BOAAPPS.
